With two decades of experience in evaluating medical technologies across both government and private sectors, Kwame's expertise is nothing short of exceptional.
Throughout his remarkable career, Kwame has personally assessed over 1,000 medical technologies. He boasts a rich history, including 12 years at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in progressive leadership roles, including Deputy Director and Branch Chief. He also served as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at Implant Direct, a Danaher Corporation operating company.
Kwame's dedication to the advancement of medtech doesn't stop there. He actively participates in numerous prestigious boards, including the University of Virginia Licensing & Ventures Group and the California Life Sciences (CLS).
In a testament to his commitment to diversity and inclusion, Kwame founded MedTech Color, a nonprofit with a mission to amplify the representation of individuals of color within the medical device industry.
With a B.S. in Physics from Lincoln University and dual master's degrees from the University of Virginia in Materials Engineering and Business Administration, Kwame Ulmer embodies the spirit of innovation and leadership that drives Quroba's mission forward.
