Play a key role in a successful initiative that provides Real Interesting Summer Experiences to rising Montgomery County Public School’s juniors and seniors. Last summer, the program supported career exploration and industry insights for more than 360 students with the help of over 185 host organizations. Summer RISE 2017 hosts had rewarding experiences, saying their students were professional, creative, engaged and motivated to learn.
If you take advantage of this great opportunity, you will be assigned two or more (if requested) students to shadow members of your team and learn the exciting facets of your industry. Summer RISErs are equipped to enter host workplaces through a series of professionalism and financial literacy courses they take prior to their placements. The program begins July 9, 2018 and will last for 3 weeks, with students averaging about 20 hrs/week.
