Joe Harford, PhD, a senior official within the NCI Center for Global Health and well published cell biologist, has devoted more than 15 years building international partnerships to advance cancer research, training, and surveillance.
On July 10th, he will join us at the University of Maryland to share insights on challenges faced in bringing public and private sectors together in the international arena around cancer research, including those cancers caused by viruses, and on political obstacles overcome in advancing specific collaborative programs.
